![]() Anyway, ignore her and head behind the tree she's stood in front of. You'll see a woman with a speech bubble above her head with a love heart in it – you'll find her doppelgängers all across the world, and they all ask you the same thing: To rate Doom & Destiny if you're enjoying it. Go into your menu, select tactics, and make Francis your leader. When you've collected it all, head W along the dirt road from Castle Town, focusing on getting Hocus Pocus to bronze until you reach a bridge. One of them is full of Jelly Beans, the other a few random items. The upper one is a pointless stable (go ahead and visit if you like), the middle one and bottom one are houses. Go back to the map and head S and a little E. Return to the inn in Castle Town to heal when you've done so (you'll also have plenty of Golz if you need more rations – buy 50 of each – or gear, or if you couldn't afford the powers before). In the woods and grasslands just to the NE of MacGuffin Castle, you're going to want to roam around getting into random encounters and levelling up until you get both the Angry Birds and My Name Is Wolf side quests to bronze. Leave the museum, go S, W, S (there's an inn where you can replenish your party at for 40g per night), and finally S through the town gates to the world map. You'll find yourself back outside their door with a lady waiting by 500 Golz! ( SECRET 4/39). Go through the conversation with them until you leave. Inside You'll find a weird amalgam of the cast of Final Fantasy VII and The A-Team, called The Hey Team. Follow the linear path to the third door along from the right, and enter. Now enter the museum and head W, then go N through the red curtain by the animal pen. There are five people including the ticket seller, and each one will ask for 20g. You'll need 100g to gain entry, by talking to each person in the queue, starting from the back. Head N up the side of the diner to find the Bright Warriors Museum. Buy rations as you see fit, but make sure you save enough Golz for the trainer here: Strength Spirit, Molotov Cocktail ( 11,12/180 POWERS). Without them, you'll be making the game much, much harder than it needs to be). You can't use them, but after every battle, your team will use rations automatically to restore HP from the food and MP from the drink. (Briefly: Rations come in food and drink forms, and usually cost 5g and 8g respectively. This is also your tenth power, giving you a nice shiny achievement.įrom here, go N, E, E, E and enter the diner, where you can talk to the proprietor for a tutorial on rations. Buy Sneak Attack, Arms Sunder, Chop the Throat, Power Attack, Warrior Challenge, Unstoppable ( POWERS 5-10/180). Head S from here to a small square containing two trainers. Go E, E, S and W where you'll find weapon and armour shops. Go upstairs in the shop to find a trainer: Buy Fireball and Ice Blast ( POWERS 3, 4/180). You can always find gear during random encounters anyway. ![]() ![]() You can buy some gear here if you wish, but with the difficulty on Chillax you should be prioritising picking up every power as I point them out. Enter the Magic Shop in the NW corner, and make sure you buy the Magic Candle! This will save you a lot of headaches later on, and it's dead cheap. Feel free to search both floors of the castle for other items, before leaving using that same entrance again, back into Castle Town. Now head back around to the entrance you came in by, and work your way to the SW corner and talk to the girl there who will give you a Princess Dress. Head W and straight through the wall to the small room with the crown in. Follow the corridor E, N, W, then S at the first junction. When it feels right to do so, I'll also be using L, R, U, D for left, right, up and down.Ĭheck your equipment and powers ( POWER 2/180 - DARK EIDOUS). ![]() If I refer to Castle Town or MacGuffin's Castle, this is it!įrom this point forward I'll be giving directions in the form of compass points. You'll end up in Castle Town – Make a note of its location on the world map, as it's a location you'll return to a few times, and one which I'll use as a fulcrum between journeys as it's practically central in the world. LONG conversation about why you're here, and once again be witness to the kind of humour and grammar you can expect for the rest of the game. Head to the throne room – it's a linear path.
